Father Charlie Holt elected Bishop Coadjutor Elect.

On behalf of the St. Mary's clergy and convention delegates, I'm honored to announce that a voting body of more than 200 clergy and lay delegates gathered at St. John's Cathedral last Saturday and selected The Rev. Charlie Holt as our Bishop Coadjutor Elect.

Father Charlie will ultimately succeed Bishop Howard upon his retirement in late 2023 to serve as the ninth Bishop of Florida.

Please keep Father Charlie, his family and our diocese in your prayers as we enter this period of transition.

When you come into the church, you’ll encounter steps or a ramp that will take you to the Red doors and the front porch of the church. There might be ushers, greeters and worship leaders there to welcome you and offer you a bulletin. The bulletin will help you know what’s happening in the service. As you enter the church you find yourself in our NARTHEX (that’s Episco-speak for entryway) and that is where we keep our sign-up sheets, newcomer information and where the coloring sheets for the children are located. We often get asked how I do I “join” St. Mary’s? The short answer is: come to St. Mary’s! We welcome anyone and everyone to join us for worship on Sunday mornings or at any of our church activities. We believe that first and foremost, membership in the Church means being part of a community that is drawn ever more deeply into relationship with God and our neighbor through Jesus Christ.”
