Newcomer's Class
A class for Newcomers provides an introduction to St. Mary's and the Episcopal Church, and helps participants explore what it means to live a life of faith. Please come, whether you are new to Christianity, the Episcopal Church, or to st. Mary's. Share your story, your hopes and fears; and explore your gifts and find a ministry that suits those gifts.
Confirmation & Reception
Confirmation is offered for adults and youth who were baptized as infants and are ready to make a mature declaration of faith before the Bishop of the Diocese. For adults who were confirmed in another church, reception into the Episcopal Church is marked liturgically by making a declaration before the Bishop. Confirmation and reception may take place during a Bishop’s visitation.

Throughout the year we have other classes to deepen your faith and relationship with God. Advent Quiet Day, Lenten Quiet Day, Wednesday night bible Study throughout the season of Lent, and workshops on Praying through Art, Purposeful advanced planning and many others that purpose to connect faith with everyday living.
