Here I Am, Send Me

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” – Isaiah 6:8
These words evoke powerful images, maybe more relevant today than ever before. This is the theme, this is the message chosen by your Stewardship Committee for this year’s campaign.
Again, this year, we continue to live in uncertain times where we cherish God’s warm embrace to help us endure. But we also are ready to stand and answer the call whenever and wherever needed to assist people in need, feed the hungry and prepare children for school. To that end we once again start our Stewardship Campaign for 2022 fiscal year. We were very successful in starting the campaign in September last year so we will reprise the effort again this season. Stewardship will run from September 12th through November 7th.
This campaign provides the largest part of the church’s income, so having pledges finalized in the fall helps greatly in budget planning for 2022 and allows the start of the new year on a solid financial foundation.
You good people of St. Mary’s are always generous, and you understand the call to action “Here am I! Send me.”. We ask you prayerfully consider your pledge for 2022, and if your personal situation allows, consider an increase. Most important though is your pledge during the campaign so an accurate budget can be developed.
Included here is a Pledge card, and they will be available in the church as well. We all have much to be grateful for and your Stewardship Committee is especially grateful for you and your commitment to St. Mary’s.
Faithfully, Your Stewardship Committee,
