ALTAR GUILD

The Altar Guild plays a vital role in maintaining the church's most sacred space. Through their unwavering dedication, they are not mere caretakers, but custodians of sacred rituals, preserving the timeless beauty and sanctity of the Episcopal tradition for generations to come. Responsibilities typically include preparing the altar for each service; care and maintenance of all items used during worship; coordinating the decoration of the church for different liturgical seasons and special occasions; cleanup and storage; and assisting the clergy during worship services, when necessary. The Altar Guild ensures the church's sacred space is properly prepared and maintained for worship. Their work is essential to the smooth functioning of worship services and help to create an atmosphere of reverence and beauty in the church.
