Mother Sarah earned her Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School in May 2021 and then became a Curate at All Saints Episcopal Church in Jacksonville. Before moving to Durham, NC to attend Divinity School, she served for 9 years at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville as the Director of Family Ministries as well as the Parish Administrator. Prior to that, Mother Sarah served at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Jacksonville as the Minister for Children and Youth. During her time at St. Paul’s, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries from Florida Christian College.

Mother Sarah was raised Southern Baptist and introduced to the Episcopal Church in 1996 by her husband Steve. She grew up in Orange Park, FL and has been married to Steve for almost 25 years. They have three daughters, Hannah, Leah, and Norah. Hannah is married to Jacob and they live in Kentucky where both serve in youth ministry. Sarah and Steve also claim Catherine Birch as their “bonus” child!
