WORSHIP WITH US

Worship with us

Worship is the center of our life together. As we hear and ponder God’s word, lift
up our hearts to God in song, offer our concerns to God in prayer, and gather with Jesus around the table, we are drawn closer to one another in fellowship through the power of the Holy Spirit.  In the midst of our busy lives, giving thanks for God’s blessings serves as a source of comfort and refreshment that empowers us for
our ministry in the world. Within this broad framework, each service is distinct.

Holy Eucharist Rite II on Sundays at 8:30 AM & 10:30 AM

Sunday services are held in the sanctuary, both offering Holy Communion.

On occasion and when more seating is required, we will offer worship services in our Parish Hall.

8:30 AM - The "early" service  is a quieter service with spoken word and no music or Children's Chapel. (This service is often live-streamed to our Facebook and YouTube pages for those who cannot attend with us in person.)

10:30 AM - The "later" service is full of traditional music, joyful singing with our cantor and choir, and the option for children to participate in our Children's Chapel in the parish hall during the beginning portion of the service; however, we believe Holy Communion is paramount in our faith, so the children return to receive the Holy Eucharist with us.

Wednesday Noonday Healing Prayer  Service [12 PM]

This service is held in the sanctuary, and offers healing prayer with Holy Communion.

Worship at the Katherine Swain-Schippa Outdoor Altar

On special occasions we worship by the river at our beautiful outdoor altar. Because we are on the lawn, portable chairs are needed (we do have a few extra chairs to set up for those unable to bring their own). It is often warm so we also suggest casual clothing, hats, sunscreen/bug spray, and a bottle water for when we worship outdoors.
